Quick Access Panel: Be more productive on Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar

What’s new:: Google added one quick access tool panel (quick-side panel) to the right of the editing interface of Docs and Google Calendar. Quick access panel will help you quickly access other G Suite applications without having to open new tabs or leave the interface you are working in.

This quick access panel is also a prominent feature of the interface New Gmail. Google hopes that this integration will help you work more efficiently with G Suite (and between G Suite apps).

From the Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Drawings interface, you'll be able to access three G Suite apps:

• Google Calendar:  Quickly refer to, create or edit calendars, invitations, and events.
• Google Keep:  Easily take notes, create lists, and view your other content.
• Google Tasks: Manage tasks and to-do lists.

On the Google Calendar interface, you will also see a quick access panel - where you can use Keep and Tasks.
