This started in 2014, when inspired by Google&#039;s internal cluster management system,<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/research.google.com\/pubs\/pub43438.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Borg<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Google invented and introduced Kubernetes <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (<a href=\"https:\/\/gcloudvn.com\/en\/google-kubernetes-engine-gke\/\">GKE<\/a>), the world&#039;s first managed Kubernetes service. GKE is the most scalable leading Kubernetes service available today. In 2019, Google launched <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cloud Run<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the first serverless platform that combines the benefits of containers and serverless. Today, Cloud Run offers one of the leading developer experiences among all cloud providers. Google has also expanded GKE to hybrid and multi-cloud environments with <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Anthos's reach<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in 2019, and introduced <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/cloud.google.com\/blog\/products\/containers-kubernetes\/introducing-gke-autopilot\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Autopilot<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in GKE in 2021. Finally, this year, Google expanded the reach of Anthos with <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/cloud.google.com\/blog\/products\/infrastructure-modernization\/google-distributed-cloud-hosted-is-ga\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Google Distributed Cloud<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Continuing its mission, this year at Next, Google will announce three enhancements to its container management products:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">First, we are launching GKE Enterprise, a new premium edition of GKE. With GKE Enterprise, companies can increase velocity across multiple teams, easily and securely run their most important business-critical workloads, and reduce total cost of ownership with a fully integrated and managed solution from Google Cloud.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Second, for organizations developing the next generation of AI applications, GKE now supports the AI-optimized <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/cloud.google.com\/blog\/products\/compute\/announcing-cloud-tpu-v5e-and-a3-gpus-in-ga\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cloud TPU v5e<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Additionally, there is support for A3 virtual machines with NVIDIA H100 GPUs as well <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/cloud.google.com\/blog\/products\/storage-data-transfer\/cloud-storage-fuse-now-ga\" These new additions build on recent enhancements that make it easier for customers to scale workloads with containers, whether using Cloud Run or GKE or both. For example, with recent innovations such as Cloud Run-Eventarc integration, news media such as <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/cloud.google.com\/blog\/products\/serverless\/how-the-bbc-uses-cloud-run-and-bigquery-to-process-logs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">BBC uses Cloud Run<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to handle traffic spikes, scaling from 150 \u2013 200 container instances to over 1,000 in under a minute and serving over 498 million adults per week. We also focus on providing customers with choices. Some organizations move workloads between GKE and Cloud Run. Other organizations like Carrefour leverage both GKE and Cloud Run together to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/cloud.google.com\/customers\/carrefourtaiwan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Run new e-commerce applications<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Finally, for telecommunications companies such as <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/cloud.google.com\/customers\/orange\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Orange<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> With regulatory and sovereignty requirements in mind, we extended GKE to hybrid environments with Google Distributed Cloud.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Google has come a long way since 2014, from supporting web applications to enabling customers to leverage cloud and containers to run business-critical, AI-driven applications for transformation. their business activities.
