400;\">Starting today, Gemini can identify relevant files from a user\u2019s Drive with changes since it was last viewed and provide an overview of those changes. This includes file edits on Docs and file comments on Docs, Sheets, and Slides. While this list isn\u2019t meant to be comprehensive, it aims to highlight changes that may be helpful and important<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Ai_bi_anh_huong\"><\/span><b>Who\u2019s impacted<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">End users<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Tai_sao_lai_su_dung\"><\/span><b>Why you\u2019d use it<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cCatch me up\u201d provides a high-level overview of important changes across documents from your Drive, or a synopsis of the main changes and comments in a particular file since it was last opened to ensure users are always up to date.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Thong_tin_them\"><\/span><b>Additional details<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This feature is only available in English at this time.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Bat_dau\"><\/span><b>Getting started<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Admins: To access Gemini in the side panel of Workspace apps, users need to have smart features and personalization turned on. Admins can turn on default personalization setting for their users in the Admin console. End users: On web from chat.google.com, click on a space, thread, or message, then click the \"Ask Gemini\u201d icon at the top of the page to open Gemini in the side panel of Chat. From there, you can select from suggested prompts or type in your own query. Visit the Help Center to learn more about collaborating with Gemini in Google Chat and ensuring your smart feature settings are turned on.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">End users<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can get a high-level \u201cCatch me up\u201d update by navigating to Google Drive Home and selecting the \u201cCatch me up\u201d nudge at the top of the page. The response will show in the Gemini side panel.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For a specific doc, Gemini can help you identify if there have been changes to that file since you last viewed it and provide an overview of what changed.
