• Cinematic Video Overviews: This is the most groundbreaking feature. Now you can ask NotebookLM to create in-depth, immersive videos with smooth animation and rich visuals to summarize or explain complex topics from your source material. Gemini models will automatically make hundreds of decisions about structure, style, and visuals to tell the story in the most compelling way.
  • Ideal for: Imagine complex stories, summarize academic research, or create a compelling project presentation.

   

• Flexible Slide Editing and PPTX File Export: NotebookLM not only creates presentation slides, but now you can directly edit content, request design changes, or troubleshoot issues on both computers and mobile devices. Importantly, users can now export presentations as PPTX files, making editing and presenting in PowerPoint seamless.

• New Infographic Styles: To make visual summaries richer, Google has added 10 unique infographic styles such as Sketch Notes, Kawaii, Science, Anime, Bento Grid, and more.

Most of these features are now available to all Google Workspace customers and users with personal Google accounts and NotebookLM access. Some premium features, such as “Cinematic Video Overview,” will be available for Business/Enterprise Standard, Plus, and paid Google AI Pro/Ultra plans.
