Improved security center with custom reports and new email logs
Google is adding some new features to the G Suite Security Center – Security Center. The Security Center is a set of tools that provide security analysis, insights on which admins can solve problems, as well as the best recommendations from Google to help businesses. Businesses can protect their own data and users.
Google is working on and changing some features in the security center, but here are some key changes that you should be aware of:
Create more centralized and informative dashboards with essential charts
Now you can create your own custom charts and save them to the dashboard. This makes it possible to customize dashboards and ensure that they only show the information that matters most to you and your business. You can create a graph based on any request recorded in your activity log investigation tool. Use Google's Help Center to learn more about security dashboard or how to create your own custom charts.
You can save the graphs you've created to a secure info page that shows the information you care about.
More useful Gmail information with new email log once sent
Google added the "new event which will be recorded by email logs after emails are sent – to provide information around what happens to emails after they are sent or received. This feature saves admins from having to guess what happened and allows admins to better understand what's going on with their business.
These new “events” include: Open, Mark unread, reply, auto-forward, inbox, trash, take out, link click, download attachments, save the attachment to Drive. Visit the Help Center to learn more about Ways to use email logs.
