New Google Sites: Quickly create more engaging websites with section layouts

What’s changing: Google is adding section layouts the new Google sites. You can use these layouts to quickly design web pages or page sections on Google Sites. With this feature, you can create professional websites more easily and quickly.

6 pre-made sample layouts for your website

At launch, there are six pre-made layout options. You'll find them in the Insert menu on the right of Google Sites. To use them, simply drag and drop the layout onto the page. Here, a new section will be added to your website and automatically populated with content arranged to suit the layout. You can then add your own content and customize the layout to make it your own.
