Assign more privileges to Gmail accounts
What’s new: Secure security management and efficient email threading are critical to the success of any business, but it can be overwhelming for a G Suite Admin. To alleviate this problem, Google has released 3 new privileges for Gmail that Super Admin G Suite can grant other accounts (these don't have to be super admin):
Email Log Search – Search Email Logs
This privilege is granted to the user access to Gmail's log search.
Access Admin Quarantine – Access Moderation Admin Panel
G Suite Administrator settings and settings can be configured to block certain emails, which helps prevent spam, minimize data loss, and protect confidential information. This privilege gives the user access to Admin Quarantine, where the user can allow or block incoming emails. Note that this privilege will not allow the user to view or change any Admin Quarantine settings.
Access Restricted Quarantines – Access to Quarantine
This privilege also gives users access to Admin Quarantine, but only to moderation sections where they are in the review control group. Note: This privilege, like the ones above, will not allow the user to access any Admin Quarantine settings.
Super admins can set these privileges for users by clicking Amin console, selecting CREATE A NEW ROLE under Admin Roles and selecting Services > Gmail and the specific privilege from the Previlege menu.
