The Google Workspace add-on is now available for Docs, Sheets, and Slides, having previously been released on Calendar, Gmail, and Google Drive. These add-ons allow you to use third-party apps within Google Workspace, helping you get things done faster without switching from one app to another.
Improve Gmail add-ons with Compose-time
Google is improving the way you work with Google Workspace add-ons in Gmail through the addition of Compose-time capabilities. Use Smart Fill for Google Sheets to automatically import data
Google is launching Smart Fill for Google Sheets, which detects and learns patterns between columns to intelligently auto-complete data entries. For example, if you have a “Full Name” column, you might want to separate it into a column with “First Name” and a column with “Last Name”. When you start typing names in a column, Sheets automatically searches for patterns. If Sheets detects a pattern, Sheets creates the corresponding formula and then autofills the rest of the columns for you.
